Mini is originally a British car maker.  BMW currently owns Mini.  BMW overlooks all design, manufacturing, distribution, and sales for Mini vehicles.  Mini specializes in compact cars.  After BMW’s take over, Mini has moved upmarket into an oxymoronic luxury sub compact segment.  With the luxury moniker comes the Mini navigation system.

The Mini navigation system fit well with Mini’s minimalistic yet fun philosophy.  The factory Mini navigation system has a quick search for places option.  The OEM Mini navigation system will also give you directions as well as monitor critical car information such as tire pressure.  Mini has also built pre programmed alerts into the replacement Mini navigation system, for example, if your tire pressure is low, it will alert you. 

The Mini stereo unit is as intuitive as the navigation.  You have the option of a single CD or 6 disc CD player when choosing a factory Mini stereo unit.  Once you have the OEM Mini Stereo unit picked, there is an option to upgrade all speakers to Harman Kardon.  If that wasn’t enough, the replacement Mini stereo unit can also be fitted with HD AND XM radio along with speed sensitive volume, mp3 and Bluetooth compatibility.
